This event, exclusively for the little ones, has gained popularity and secured its future with the seventh edition of the Children’s Tomatina in 2025, which will take place on August 23 at 12:00 p.m. in Buñol’s Plaza del Pueblo, in the Valencian Community, Spain.
What is the Children’s Tomatina?
The Children’s Tomatina was created in 2013 as an adapted version of the famous tomato festival so that children aged 4 to 14 could enjoy the same experience as adults but in a safer and more controlled way. Held on the last Saturday of August, this festival offers the perfect opportunity for kids to take part in this traditional tomato battle. The duration of this “mini-battle” is approximately 30-40 minutes, allowing children to have fun without exhausting themselves.
